Danielle is in the process of completing her 800 hour yoga therapy certification. She has been teaching since 2018, is certified in trauma-informed and vinyasa yoga, and understands that each individual is on their own journey, meeting each person where they are at. She initially found yoga at age 18, as she lived a life surrounded by trauma and found yoga to be her outlet for helping her heal. When her mom passed away unexpectedly just a few years ago, is when Danielle decided that she needed to dig deeper into her yoga practice. She was then certified in trauma-informed and vinyasa yoga, which has changed her entire outlook on yoga and life itself. It is more than just movement and flexibility- it gives each person a chance to look inside and find their true purpose in life. She teaches vinyasa, but also incorporates yin and guided meditation into her classes. It is important to balance the movement with stillness, allowing us to dig deeper into the mind.
Danielle enjoys camping, hiking, spending time with friends and family, cooking, reading, and listening to music. She is excited to complete her 800 hour yoga therapy program so she can give back all that she learned, to help people live their best lives. She is passionate about trauma and the effects it can have on a person- her mission is to help people to not only understand, but to conquer their traumas. Her motto is “One Day at a Time”- knowing that things change day to day, but to approach each day humbly and filled with gratitude. Each day is a new day.
